in Blue : the concept
Marseille Provence Airport has embraced a new visual identity
since March 2003.
More dynamic, more up-to-date, it reflects the innovative process
and the strategy initiated by the Airport these last years.
The Airport is not only a passing through place. It must improve its
services' quality, its products' diversity and also
its location, all undeniable advantages.
This new image allows a better recognition of the products
range and the services offered by Marseille Provence Airport.
The principles of this
new image A new identity, the Blue colour
The blue colour becomes the belonging symbol of Marseille Airport
to the sea and the sky. A new trademark "Made in
blue" (Monde en Bleu) joined to each product.
The trademark refers to the original, distinguishable and common impression
of the brandmark. It is also a recurrent and federative element which
appears on all communication mediums of Marseille Provence Airport.
The shingle choice is very symbolic. It emphasises smooth and round
shapes which are reassuring et which remind Mediterranean sea and
its beaches…
It is like dreaming. The "made in blue" (monde
en bleu) texte reflects a conceptual axe borrowed to Marseille
linguistic culture : the famous "Made in Marseille".
It also shows the development and integration will to the world with
the English language.
The designation "Marseille Provence" is also necessary
to the global comprehension of the shingle. A new signature
"The Mediterranean Experience" and in French "Au
cœur de la Méditerranée" and a new logo
making stronger the name "Marseille Provence".
These elements underline the central position of the Airport in the
heart of Provence and Mediterranean. |
