According to the European rules and regulations of the 5th of July 2006 and from the 26th of July 2006, Marseille Provence Airport has been providing assistance to disabled and special needs passengers.
It is now mandatory to inform your airline of your need for assistance at least 48h prior to departure time to be able to receive assistance.
Access to car parks
- Access to dedicated parking spaces, as well as the location of special assistance help points will be indicated when you buzz the intercom at the entrance of the car park.
Access to terminals
- Marseille Provence Airport has several special assistance help points located near each terminal MP1 and MP2 (see map below).
- To get assistance
- You must be at one of the two identified special assistance help point no later than 2 hours before the published flight departure time. A person will collect you from the special assistance help point.
- Or arrive at check-in no later than one hour before the departure time.

Please note that if you do not notify your airline at least 48h before departure time, the Airport cannot guarantee that you will be able to board your plane on time.

Inside the terminals
- Our facilities are equiped with special needs toilets in the public areas and boarding areas.
- Special assistance signposting is marked with easily identifiable images :
- Lifts are automatically part of the passenger’s journey through the airport, offering simple access from the car park to the plane.
